of a long association with Jeff Parke.
Jeff has the ability to combine the best features of the best mouthpieces
of the 20th Century. Once he does this, he can then reproduce the mouthpiece
absolutely perfectly.
Jeff took my favorite Reeves 41S rim and copied it perfectly. The cup is
somewhat shallow. The backbore has a slow taper which has two benefits; it
centers well in all registers, and it allows me to play with a lot of brilliance
for extended periods of time.
I use this mouthpiece 99% of the time because it permits me to cover a lot
of territory stylistically."
